CAT: Common Admission Test
CAT stands for Common Admission Test. This competitive test is conducted by Indian Institute of Management to provide admissions for various management programs for IIMs and Non-IIM institutes. It is the most popular management aptitude test among the prospective management students as it is accepted by most of the renowned management institutes of India in addition to IIMs.
This is a computer based test which includes the following:
- Reading comprehension in English
- Quantitative ability
- Data interpretation
- Verbal ability and Logical reasoning
- Analytical reasoning

The minimum qualification to apply for CAT examination is graduation.
Usage
Cracking CAT is the only way to get admission in Indian Institute of Management.
