Less pow()

The Less pow function is used to specify the value of first argument raised to the power of second argument.

Pow Function Example

Let’s take an example to demonstrate the usage of pow function in Less file.

Create a Less file named “simple.less”, having the following code:

Less file: simple.less

Now open the node.js command prompt and execute the following code: lessc simple.less simple.css

This will compile the “simple.less” file. A CSS file named “simple.css” will be generated.

The generated CSS “simple.css”, has the following code:

Here, you can see that the font having pow-math function is produced the value of 3³ = 27.
