- This application might not support some of the games.
- This application may not work well on non-verified devices.
- If you want to use the touchpad function on the DUALSHOCK 4 on a smartphone running on Android 10, you have to use an on-screen controller.
- You cannot use this application through a mobile network.
How to set up PS4 Remote Play
To enjoy PlayStation 4 games using PS4 Remote Play, first of all, you need to setup PS4 Remote Play. To set up PS4 Remote Play, follow the below-given steps:
Enable Remote Play on PS4
First of all, make sure that your PlayStation 4 settings are turned ON to connect with Remote Play.
- Navigate to your PlayStation 4 Settings.
- Tap on the Remote Play Connection Settings.
- Mark check to the Enable Remote Play option.
Activate your PS4 as your Primary PS4
- Navigate to PS4 Settings and then visit Account Management.
- In the Account Management screen, activate the Activate as Your Primary PS4.
Make sure that you can activate only one Primary PS4 at one time.
Start your Remote Play when PS4 is in Rest Mode
- Visit at PS4 Settings
- Click on the Power Save Settings
- Next, go to the Set Features Available in Rest Mode.
- Now, enable the Stay Connected to the Internet and then Enable Turning On PS4 from Network.
Installing Remote Play
Now, your PlayStation 4 setup is completed and needs to connect with any Remote Play devices and launch Remote Play on the platform you want to play.
For PC or Mac
- Visit at Remote Play download site and select the operating system on which you want to use.
- Run the downloaded file and follow the instruction to complete your installation process.
- Start the Remote Play when your PS4 is in rest mode.
For iOS and Android
- Visit the PlayStation Remote Play
- Now, look at the “Which devices are compatible?” section.
- Click on any of the links based on the device OS on which you want to install.
- Download and install the app on your device.
- Start Remote Play when PS4 is in rest mode.
Android devices which are running on Android 5 or later version are compatible to run Remote Play. Only the devices are running on Android 10 support wireless DUALSHOCK 4. Now, you have installed Remote Play and setup PS4, and you are ready to play.
Connect DUALSHOCK 4 wireless controller via Bluetooth
The compatible devices that support Bluetooth connection with wireless DUALSHOCK 4 using OS are given below. Once you get connected with a wireless DUALSHOCK 4 controller, you can play with an application such as PS4 Remote Play.
Keep in mind, while using a wireless DUALSHOCK 4 controller with an Apple iOS device, you can’t be able to use the PS button on the wireless DUALSHOCK 4 controller.
